Francisco Takes Flight! is a beautiful children’s story about a pink flamingo. It is also a children’s book about self-discovery. It also is a children’s story to celebrate the animals at the Detroit Zoo. The author of this children’s book is a Detroit-native. The editor and illustrator are also from Michigan.
